Curriculum Night is Thursday, September 20th from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Marbletown Elementary School.  Curriculum Night is an opportunity for you to meet our faculty and to learn about our programs and the curriculum your child will be learning this year.   Please note that while almost all of our events are for students, Curriculum Night is an opportunity for the teachers to speak to parents about the curriculum.   The PTA will be providing child care in the cafeteria, but it is limited.  If you have someone who can look after your children during the meeting, that would be great. 

The schedule for the evening is as follows:

 Grades Pre K, Kindergarten and 1st Grade:   Your evening begins in the gymnasium

6:00 – 6:30 p.m.          Parents will meet in the gymnasium for a presentation. 

6:40 – 7:20 p.m.          Curriculum Night in your child’s classroom.

7:20 – 7:45 p.m.          Parents can visit with specials teachers, speech pathologists, reading teachers, the school counselor and psychologist in the library and various locations in the building.  Specific locations will be on the Curriculum Night Program when you arrive. 

7:45 – 8:00 p.m.          PTA and Boy Scouts representatives will be available in the lobby where you can learn more about their programs.  

 

Grades 2 & 3: Your evening begins in your child’s classroom

6:00 – 6:40 p.m.          Curriculum Night in your child’s classroom.

6:40 – 7:20 p.m.          Parents can visit with specials teachers, the nurse, speech pathologists, reading teachers, the school counselor and psychologist in the library and various locations in the building.  Specific locations will be on the Curriculum Night Program when you arrive. 

7:20 – 8:00 p.m.          Representatives from the PTA and Boys Scouts will be available in the lobby where you can learn more about their programs.
